Health Quality Innovators’ Patrick Massey, Emergency Preparedness Director, will be presenting at the Georgia Rural Health Association Annual Conference. Patrick’s session, “Core Components of a Healthcare Cyber Incident Response Plan,” will be presented at 3:30 p.m. on September 17. Attendees will gain practical guidance on developing a Cyber Incident Response Plan designed to minimize operational disruptions and support rapid recovery following a cyber incident. The presentation will examine the key phases of incident response, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery, as well as the important roles managed service providers and cyber insurers play during response and recovery efforts.
